What a man should supplicate while in the mosque.
مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29764
Hazrat Fatima bint Rasool Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrates: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter the mosque, he would pray: I enter with the name of Allah and upon the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). O Allah! Forgive my sins. And open for me the doors of Your mercy. And when he would leave, he would pray: I leave with the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). O Allah! Forgive my sins. And open for me the doors of Your grace and mercy.
حضرت فاطمہ بنت رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرماتی ہیں : جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مسجد میں داخل ہوتے تو یوں دعا فرماتے : اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ داخل ہوتا ہوں اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے طریقہ پر۔ اے اللہ ! میرے گناہوں کو معاف فرما۔ اور میرے لیے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔ اور جب نکلتے تو یوں دعا فرماتے ! اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ نکلتا ہوں ، اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر سلامتی ہو۔ اے اللہ ! میرے گناہوں کو معاف فرما۔ اور میرے لیے اپنے فضل و رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے۔
Hazrat Fatima bint Rasool Allah (SAW) farmati hain : Jab Rasool Allah (SAW) masjid mein dakhil hote to yun dua farmate : Allah ke naam ke sath dakhil hota hun aur Rasool Allah (SAW) ke tareeqa par. Aye Allah! Mere gunahon ko maaf farma. Aur mere liye apni rehmat ke darwaze khol de. Aur jab nikalte to yun dua farmate! Allah ke naam ke sath nikalta hun, aur Rasool Allah (SAW) par salamati ho. Aye Allah! Mere gunahon ko maaf farma. Aur mere liye apne fazl o rehmat ke darwaze khol de.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ ، يَقُولُ : « بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي ، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ »، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ : « بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي ، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ »
