Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 30306
Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to recite the Quran to you." Ubayy said: "Did your Lord mention my name?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes!" So Hazrat Ubayy said: "It is from the bounty of Allah and His mercy, so he should be pleased with it. This is better than all the things that they are gathering."
حضرت ابی ّ بن کعب فرماتے ہیں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں تجھے قرآن سناؤں ۔ ابی نے عرض کیا : کیا آپ کے رب نے میرا نام لیا ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جی ہاں ! تو حضرت ابی نے فرمایا اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے ہے سو اس پر چاہیے ان کو خوش ہونا۔ یہ بہتر ہے ان سب چیزوں سے جو یہ جمع کر رہے ہیں۔
Hazrat Ubayy bin Kab farmate hain Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main tumhe Quran sunaon. Ubayy ne arz kiya: kya aap ke Rabb ne mera naam liya hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ji haan! To Hazrat Ubayy ne farmaya Allah ke fazl aur uski rehmat se hai so us par chahiye unko khush hona. Yeh behtar hai in sab cheezon se jo yeh jama kar rahe hain.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبْزَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْرِضَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ »، قُلْتُ : سَمَّانِي لَكَ ، قَالَ : « نَعَمْ »، فَقَالَ أُبَيٌّ : ﴿ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ ﴾ [ يونس : ٥٨ ]
