Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31221
People narrate that when a case about six brothers and their grandfather was presented before Hazrat Ali (R.A), he gave one-sixth of the property to the grandfather.
شعبی روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت علی (رض) کے پاس چھ بھائیوں اور ایک دادا کے بارے میں مسئلہ لایا گیا تو آپ نے دادا کو مال کا چھٹا حصّہ دیا۔
Shubay riwayat karte hain kay Hazrat Ali (RA) kay pass chhe bhaiyon aur aik dada kay baray mein masla laya gaya to aap ne dada ko maal ka chhata hissa diya.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، « أَنَّهُ أُتِيَ فِي سِتَّةِ إِخْوَةٍ وَجَدٍّ ، فَأَعْطَى الْجَدَّ السُّدُسَ »
