كِتَابُ الْفَرَائِضِ
Who did not grant her inheritance while her son is alive

Az-Zuhri said that Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) would not allow a grandmother to inherit while her son was still alive. Az-Zuhri said that when the son of Az-Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) died, he (Az-Zubair) did not make his (i.e., his deceased son's) grandmother an heir.
زہری کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عثمان (رض) دادی کو اس کے بیٹے کے زندہ ہوتے ہوئے وارث نہیں بناتے تھے، زہری فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت زبیر (رض) کا بیٹا فوت ہوا تو انھوں نے ( ان کی دادی کو ) وارث نہیں بنایا۔
Zahri kehte hain ke Hazrat Usman (RA) dadi ko uske bete ke zinda hote huye waris nahi banate thay, Zahri farmate hain ke Hazrat Zubair (RA) ka beta foot hua to unhon ne (un ki dadi ko) waris nahi banaya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ ، « كَانَ لَا يُوَرِّثُ الْجَدَّةَ أُمَّ الْأَبِ وَابْنُهَا حَيٌّ »، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : وَتُوُفِّيَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ وَلَمْ تُوَرَّثْ
