كِتَابُ الْفَرَائِضِ
Who did not grant her inheritance while her son is alive
مَنْ كَانَ لَا يُوَرِّثُهَا وَابْنُهَا حَيٌّ

Hazrat Amir states that, among the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), no one except Hazrat Ibn Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) would make the grandmother an heir while her son was still alive.
حضرت عامر فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ میں سے حضرت ابن مسعود (رض) کے علاوہ کوئی بھی دادی کو اس کے بیٹے کے زندہ ہوتے ہوئے وارث نہیں بناتا تھا۔
Hazrat Amer farmate hain ke Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sahaba mein se Hazrat Ibn Masood (Razi Allahu Anhu) ke ilawa koi bhi dadi ko uske bete ke zinda hote hue waris nahi banata tha.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : « لَمْ يُوَرِّثْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْجَدَّةَ مَعَ ابْنِهَا إِلَّا ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ »
