Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31712
Hazrat Shabi narrates that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked his companions, "Are you pleased that you are one-third of the people of Paradise?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Then are you pleased that you are half of the people of Paradise?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Then my Ummah will be two-thirds of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection. People on the Day of Resurrection will be in one hundred and twenty rows, and eighty rows will be of my Ummah."
حضرت شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک دن نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے اھل مجلس سے فرمایا کہ کیا اس پر تم خوش ہو کہ تم اھل جنت کا ایک تہائی ہو ؟ لوگوں نے کہا اللہ اور اس کا رسول بہتر جانتے ہیں آپ نے فرمایا کہ پھر کیا تم اس پر خوش ہو کہ تم اہل جنت کا نصف ہو ؟ انھوں نے کہا اللہ اور اس کا رسول بہتر جانتے ہیں ، آپ نے فرمایا کہ پھر میری امت قیامت کے دن اہل جنت کا دو تہائی ہوگی، لوگ قیامت کے دن ایک سو بیس صفوں میں ہوں گے اور میری امت کی اسّی صفیں ہوں گی۔
Hazrat Shabi farmate hain keh aik din Nabi (SAW) ne apne ahle majlis se farmaya keh kya is par tum khush ho keh tum ahle jannat ka aik tihai ho? Logon ne kaha Allah aur us ka Rasul behtar jante hain aap ne farmaya keh phir kya tum is par khush ho keh tum ahle jannat ka nisf ho? Unhon ne kaha Allah aur us ka Rasul behtar jante hain, aap ne farmaya keh phir meri ummat qayamat ke din ahle jannat ka do tihai hogi, log qayamat ke din aik sau bees saffon mein hon ge aur meri ummat ki assi saffen hongi.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : ثنا مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيُّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِجُلَسَائِهِ يَوْمًا : « أَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟» ، قَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : « أَفَيَسُرُّكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا نِصْفَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟» قَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، قَالَ : « فَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُلُثَا أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةُ صَفٍّ ، وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثَمَانُونَ صَفًّا »
