Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31751
Hazrat Auf bin Malik Ashja'i says that one night, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed with us, so each of us placed a headstall on the forelegs of his mount. I woke up sometime during the night and saw that there was no one in front of the camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so I went out to look for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I found Muadh bin Jabal and Abdullah bin Qais standing there. I said, "Where is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" They said, "We have no knowledge except that we heard a sound from the upper side of the valley, and it sounded like the sound of a hand mill." We had hardly walked a short distance when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and said, "Tonight, a person came to me from my Lord, and he gave me the choice between the entry of half of my Ummah into Paradise and intercession, and I chose intercession." We said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we beseech you by Allah and by your companionship that you make us among the people of your intercession." He said, "You are among the recipients of my intercession." He says that we quickly went to the people, and they were frightened and were searching for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). You said, "Tonight, a person came to me from my Lord, and he gave me the choice between the entry of half of my Ummah into Paradise and my intercession, and I chose intercession." The people said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we beseech you by Allah and by your companionship that you make us among the people of your intercession." You said, "I make all those present as witnesses that my intercession will be for every person of my Ummah who dies in a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah."
حضرت عوف بن مالک اشجعی فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک رات رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے پاس ٹھہرے ، چنانچہ ہم میں سے ہر ایک نے اپنی سواری کے اگلے پاؤں پر سرہانہ لگا لیا، میں رات کے کسی حصّے میں بیدار ہوا تو دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اونٹنی کے سامنے کوئی نہیں، چنانچہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تلاش کرنے نکلا تو معاذ بن جبل اور عبداللہ بن قیس کھڑے تھے، میں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کہاں ہیں ؟ کہنے لگے کہ ہمیں اس کے علاوہ کوئی علم نہیں کہ ہم نے وادی کے اوپر کی جانب سے ایک آواز سنی تو سنا کہ پن چکّی جیسی آواز آرہی تھی، چنانچہ ہم تھوڑا ہی چلے تھے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تشریف لے آئے، اور فرمایا کہ آج رات میرے پاس میرے رب کی طرف سے ایک آنے والا آیا، اور اس نے مجھے میری امت کے نصف لوگوں کے جنت میں داخل ہونے اور شفاعت کے درمیان اختیار دیا اور میں نے شفاعت کو اختیار کیا ہے، ہم نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہم آپ کو اللہ کا اور آپ کی صحبت کا واسطہ دیتے ہیں کہ آپ ہمیں اپنے اہل شفاعت میں سے کر دیجئے، آپ نے فرمایا تم میری شفاعت کے حصّہ داروں میں ہو، کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تیزی سے لوگوں کے پاس آئے تو وہ گھبرائے ہوئے تھے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو تلاش کر رہے تھے، آپ نے فرمایا کہ آج رات میرے پاس میرے رب کی طرف سے ایک آنے والا آیا، اور اس نے مجھے میری امت کے نصف لوگوں کے جنت میں داخل کیے جانے اور میری شفاعت کے درمیان اختیار دیا، اور میں نے شفاعت کو اختیار کیا ہے، لوگوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہم آپ کو اللہ کا اور آپ کی صحبت کا واسطہ دیتے ہیں کہ آپ ہمیں اپنے اہل شفاعت میں کر دیجئے، آپ نے فرمایا کہ میں تمام حاضرین کو گواہ بناتا ہوں کہ میری شفاعت میری امت کے ہر اس شخص کے لیے ہوگی جو اس حال میں مرے گا کہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرتا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Auf bin Malik Ashjai farmate hain ke aik raat Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamare pas thehre, chunancha hum mein se har aik ne apni sawari ke agle paon par sarhana laga liya, mein raat ke kisi hisse mein bedar hua to dekha ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki untni ke samne koi nahin, chunancha mein Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko talash karne nikla to Muaz bin Jabal aur Abdullah bin Qais khade the, mein ne kaha ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kahan hain? Kehne lage ke hamen iske alawa koi ilm nahin ke humne wadi ke upar ki jaanib se ek awaz suni to suna ke pan chakki jaisi awaz aa rahi thi, chunancha hum thora hi chale the ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tashreef le aaye, aur farmaya ke aaj raat mere pas mere Rab ki taraf se ek aane wala aaya, aur usne mujhe meri ummat ke nisf logon ke jannat mein dakhil hone aur shafaat ke darmiyaan ikhtiyar diya aur mein ne shafaat ko ikhtiyar kiya hai, humne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hum aap ko Allah ka aur aap ki sohbat ka wasta dete hain ke aap hamen apne ahl e shafaat mein se kar dijiye, aap ne farmaya tum meri shafaat ke hissa daron mein ho, kehte hain ke hum tezi se logon ke pas aaye to woh ghabraye hue the aur Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko talash kar rahe the, aap ne farmaya ke aaj raat mere pas mere Rab ki taraf se ek aane wala aaya, aur usne mujhe meri ummat ke nisf logon ke jannat mein dakhil kiye jaane aur meri shafaat ke darmiyaan ikhtiyar diya, aur mein ne shafaat ko ikhtiyar kiya hai, logon ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hum aap ko Allah ka aur aap ki sohbat ka wasta dete hain ke aap hamen apne ahl e shafaat mein kar dijiye, aap ne farmaya ke mein tamam hazireen ko gawah banata hun ke meri shafaat meri ummat ke har us shakhs ke liye hogi jo is hal mein marega ke Allah ke sath kisi ko sharik nahin karega.
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْكَلْبِيُّ ، وَمَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ : عَرَّسَ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ، فَافْتَرَشَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا ذِرَاعَ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَانْتَبَهْتُ بَعْضَ اللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا نَاقَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ قُدَّامَهَا أَحَدٌ ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَطْلُبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَائِمَانِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ أَيْنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَا : لَا نَدْرِي غَيْرَ أَنَّا سَمِعْنَا صَوْتًا فِي أَعْلَى الْوَادِي مِثْلَ هَزِيزِ الرَّحَى فَلَمْ نَلْبَثْ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا حَتَّى أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ : « إِنَّهُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَخَيَّرَنِي بَيْنَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ نِصْفَ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ وَبَيْنَ الشَّفَاعَةِ ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَرْتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ » ، قَالَ : فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، نَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ وَالصُّحْبَةَ ، لَمَا جَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ شَفَاعَتِكَ ؟ ، قَالَ : « فَأَنْتُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ شَفَاعَتِي » ، قَالَ : فَأَقْبَلْنَا مَعَانِيقَ إِلَى النَّاسِ ، قَالَ : فَإِذَا هُمْ قَدْ فَزِعُوا وَفَقَدُوا نَبِيَّهُمْ ﷺ فَقَالَ : « إِنَّهُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَخَيَّرَنِي بَيْنَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ نِصْفَ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ وَبَيْنَ الشَّفَاعَةِ ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَرْتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ » ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، نَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ وَالصُّحْبَةَ ، لَمَا جَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ شَفَاعَتِكَ ، فَلَمَّا أَضَبُّوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ : « فَإِنِّي أُشْهِدُ مَنْ حَضَرَ أَنَّ شَفَاعَتِي لِمَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا »
