كِتَابُ الْفَضَائِلِ
Chapter on what Allah Almighty granted to Muhammad ﷺ.
بَابُ مَا أَعْطَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31774
Hazrat Muslim narrates that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), or some of them, said, "O Messenger of Allah! What will happen to us after we are separated from you in this world, for if you pass away, you will reach high ranks and we will not be able to see you?" So Allah revealed this verse: {And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.}
حضرت مسلم فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ نے یا ان میں سے بعض نے کہا یا رسول اللہ ! ہمارا آپ سے دنیا میں جدا ہونے کے بعد کیا ہوگا، کہ اگر آپ فوت ہوئے تو آپ بلند درجات پر پہنچ جائیں گے اور ہم آپ کو دیکھ نہ سکیں گے، چنانچہ اللہ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی { وَمَنْ یُطِعَ اللَّہَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَئِکَ مَعَ الَّذِینَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّہُ عَلَیْہِمْ مِنَ النَّبِیِّینَ وَالصِّدِّیقِینَ وَالشُّہَدَائِ وَالصَّالِحِینَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِکَ رَفِیقًا }۔
Hazrat Muslim farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke Sahaba ne ya un mein se baaz ne kaha Ya Rasool Allah! Humara aap se duniya mein juda hone ke baad kya hoga, keh agar aap foot hue to aap buland darjaat per pohanch jayenge aur hum aap ko dekh na sakenge, chunancha Allah ne yeh aayat nazil farmaai { Wa man yutiillaha wa Rasula fa olaika ma allatheena an ama Allahu alaihim minan Nabiyyeena wa assiddeeqeena wa ash shuhadaa i wa assaliheena wa hasuna olaika rafeeqa }.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : ثنا زَائِدَةُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ : قَالَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ مَنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نُفَارِقَكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّكَ لَوْ مِتَّ رُفِعْتُ فَوْقَنَا ، فَلَمْ نَرَكَ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﴿ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولَئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا ﴾ [ النساء : ٦٩ ]
