Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31775
Hazrat Hakeem bin Jabir narrates that when this verse was revealed, "The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord..." Gabriel said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Indeed, Allah has praised you and your Ummah in the best way. Ask and it shall be given to you." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse till the end, "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity..." etc.
حضرت حکیم بن جابر فرماتے ہیں کہ جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی { آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إلَیْہِ مِنْ رَّبِّہِ } تو جبرائیل نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے فرمایا کہ بیشک اللہ نے آپ کی اور آپ کی امت کی بہترین تعریف فرمائی ہے، آپ مانگئے آپ کو عطا کیا جائے گا، چنانچہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے یہ آیت آخر تک پڑھی، { لاَ یُکَلِّفُ اللَّہُ نَفْسًا إلاَّ وُسْعَہَا } ۔۔۔ الخ
Hazrat Hakeem bin Jabir farmate hain ke jab yeh ayat nazil hui { Aamana arrasulo bima onzila ilaihi min rabbihi } to Jibraeel ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se farmaya ke beshak Allah ne aap ki aur aap ki ummat ki behtarin tareef farmai hai, aap mangye aap ko ata kiya jayega, chunancha Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne yeh ayat aakhir tak parhi, { La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha } ... alkh
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ ﴿ آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢٨٥ ] قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ : « إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحْسَنَ الثَّنَاءَ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أُمَّتِكَ ، سَلْ تُعْطَهُ » ، قَالَ : فَقَرَأَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا ﴿ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢٨٦ ] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ
