Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 32411
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say, "The best of you are those of my time, then those who will follow them, then those who will follow them." The narrator said, "I do not know whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said this phrase twice or thrice after mentioning his own time."
حضرت عمران بن حصین (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ بیشک رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرمایا کرتے تھے ۔ بیشک تم میں بہترین لوگ میرے زمانہ کے لوگ ہیں۔ پھر وہ لوگ جو ان کے ساتھ ملے ہوئے ہیں پھر وہ لوگ جو ان کے ساتھ ملے ہوئے ہیں۔ راوی فرماتے ہیں : کہ میں نہیں جانتا کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے زمانہ کے بعد دو مرتبہ یہ جملہ ارشاد فرمایا یا تین مرتبہ ؟
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen (RA) farmate hain keh beshak Rasul Allah (SAW) farmaya karte thay. Beshak tum mein behtarin log mere zamanay ke log hain. Phir woh log jo un ke sath milay huay hain phir woh log jo un ke sath milay huay hain. Ravi farmate hain: keh mein nahin janta keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne apne zamanay ke baad do martaba yeh jumla irshad farmaya ya teen martaba?
حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي زَهْدَمُ بْنُ مُضَرِّبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ : « إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ » - فَلَا أَدْرِي ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « بَعْدَ قَرْنِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، أَوْ ثَلَاثًا » -
