What they said about obligations and recording registers.
مَا قَالُوا فِي الْفُرُوضِ وَتَدْوِينِ الدَّوَاوِينِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 32870
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) fixed six thousand each for the senior companions (may Allah be pleased with them). And he fixed the same amount for each of the pure wives of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
حضرت مجاہد (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر (رض) نے بدری صحابہ (رض) کے لیے چھ چھ ہزار مقرر فرمائے۔ اور نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی ازواج مطہرات کے لیے بھی اتنا اتنا حصہ مقرر فرمایا۔
Hazrat Mujahid (RA) farmate hain ke Hazrat Umar (RA) ne Badri sahaba (RA) ke liye chhe chhe hazar muqarrar farmaye. Aur Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki azwaj mutahirat ke liye bhi itna itna hissa muqarrar farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : « فَرَضَ عُمَرُ لِأَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فِي سِتَّةِ آلَافٍ سِتَّةَ آلَافٍ ، وَفَرَضَ لِأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ »
