Chapter on Slogans
بَابُ الشِّعَارِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 33568
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ishaq (RA) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard the slogan (or haram) of a nation, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Halal."
حضرت ابو اسحاق (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک قوم کا نعرہ (یا حرام) سنا تھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا یاحلال۔
Hazrat Abu Ishaq (RA) se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek qaum ka nara (Ya Haram) suna tha to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya Ya Halal.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ أَوْ جُهَيْنَةَ قَالَ : " سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَوْمًا يَقُولُونَ فِي شِعَارِهِمْ يَا حَرَامُ فَقَالَ : يَا حَلَالُ "
