Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34348
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Hasan that he said: The worship of Allah used to keep the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) so busy that when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come to the people, it was as if you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were like a very old waterskin, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were the most beautiful of all people. So it was submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Is it not that Allah Almighty has forgiven you? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: So should I not be a thankful servant.
حضرت حسن سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو (اللہ کی) عبادت اس طرح سے مصروف کرتی کہ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) لوگوں کے پاس تشریف لاتے تو گویا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بہت پرانے مشکیزہ کی طرح ہوتے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تمام لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ خوبصورت تھے۔ چنانچہ عرض کیا گیا یا رسول اللہ 5! کیا یہ بات نہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو معاف کردیا ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو کیا میں شکر کرنے والا بندہ نہ بنوں۔
Hazrat Hassan se riwayat hai woh kehte hain keh Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko (Allah ki) ibadat is tarah se masroof karti keh jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) logon ke pass tashreef laate to goya Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) bahut purane mashkiza ki tarah hote, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tamam logon mein sab se zyada khoobsurat thay. Chunancha arz kiya gaya ya Rasul Allah! kya yeh baat nahin keh Allah Ta'ala ne Aap ko maaf kar diya hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: to kya main shukar karne wala banda na banun.
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ تَأْخُذُهُ الْعِبَادَةُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ عَلَى النَّاسِ كَأَنَّهُ الشَّنُّ الْبَالِي ، وَكَانَ أَصْبَحَ النَّاسِ ، فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلَيْسَ قَدْ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ ، قَالَ : أَفَلَا أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا
