Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34372
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Umme Salma (RA) that she said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me while your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face was changed. I thought that it (perhaps) is due to some change so I submitted. O Messenger of Allah! I am seeing your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face changed. Is it due to any ailment? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No. But its reason is those seven Dinars which were brought to us yesterday. I had forgotten them (keeping them) by the side of the bed. So I passed the night without distributing them."
حضرت ام سلمہ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتی ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میرے پاس تشریف لائے جبکہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا چہرہ مبارک متغیر تھا۔ میں نے خیال کیا کہ یہ (شاید) کسی تبدیلی کی وجہ سے ہے تو میں نے عرض کیا۔ یا رسول اللہ 5! میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا متغیر چہرہ دیکھ رہی ہوں۔ کیا یہ کسی بیماری کی وجہ سے ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” نہیں۔ لیکن اس کی وجہ وہ سات دنانیر ہیں جو کل ہمارے پاس لائے گئے تھے۔ میں ان کو بستر کے کنارے میں (رکھ کر) بھول گیا تھا۔ پس میں نے ان کو تقسیم کیے بغیر رات گزار دی ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehti hain ke Janab Rasul Allah (SAW) mere pass tashreef laaye jabke aap (SAW) ka chehra mubarak mutagaiyyer tha. Main ne khayal kiya ke yeh (shayad) kisi tabdeeli ki wajah se hai to main ne arz kiya. Ya Rasul Allah! Main aap (SAW) ka mutagaiyyer chehra dekh rahi hun. Kiya yeh kisi bimari ki wajah se hai? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: "Nahin. Lekin is ki wajah woh saat dinar hain jo kal humare pass laaye gaye the. Main un ko bistar ke kinare mein (raakh kar) bhul gaya tha. Pas main ne un ko taqseem kiye baghair raat guzaar di.
حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ سَاهِمُ الْوَجْهِ ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ ذَاكَ مِنْ تَغَيُّرٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَرَاكَ سَاهِمَ الْوَجْهِ ، أَمِنْ عِلَّةٍ ؟ قَالَ : لَا ، وَلَكِنْ السَّبْعَةُ الدَّنَانِيرُ الَّتِي أُتِينَا بِهَا أَمْسِ نَسِيتُهَا فِي خُصْمِ الْفِرَاشِ فَبِتُّ وَلَمْ أَقْسِمْهَا
