Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34404
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ata bin Yasar that he said that when the world was presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I do not want you." The world said, "If you do not want me, then soon people other than you will want me."
حضرت عطاء بن یسار سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے دنیا پیش ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” میں تجھے نہیں چاہتا۔ دنیا نے کہا اگر آپ مجھے نہیں چاہتے تو عنقریب مجھے آپ کے علاوہ لوگ چاہیں گے۔
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab nabi kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke samne duniya pesh hui to aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: "Main tujhe nahi chahta." Duniya ne kaha agar aap mujhe nahi chahte to anqareeb mujhe aap ke ilawa log chahenge.
مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ بَعْضِ الْمَدَنِيِّينَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : تَعَرَّضَتِ الدُّنْيَا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي لَسْتُ أُرِيدُكِ ، قَالَتْ : إِنْ لَمْ تُرِدْنِي فَسَيُرِيدُنِي غَيْرُكَ
