Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34554
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah that he said that prayer only benefits the one who obeys it. Then Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited this verse: {Verily, prayer restrains (oneself) from shameful and unjust deeds, and the remembrance of Allah is greater}. Then Hazrat Abdullah said: The remembrance of Allah for his servant is greater than the servant's remembrance of his Lord.
حضرت عبداللہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ نماز اسی کو نفع دیتی ہے جو اس کی اطاعت کرتا ہے۔ پھر حضرت عبداللہ (رض) نے یہ آیت پڑھی : {إنَّ الصَّلاَۃَ تَنْہَی عَنِ الْفَحْشَائِ وَالْمُنْکَرِ وَلَذِکْرُ اللہِ أَکْبَرُ } پھر حضرت عبداللہ نے کہا : اللہ کا بندے کو یاد کرنا، بندہ کا اپنے ربّ کو یاد کرنے سے بڑا ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke namaz usi ko nafa deti hai jo uski itaat karta hai. Phir Hazrat Abdullah (RA) ne yeh ayat padhi : {inna as-salata tanha anil fahshai wal munkar, wa lazekrullahi akbar} Phir Hazrat Abdullah ne kaha : Allah ka bande ko yaad karna, banda ka apne Rab ko yaad karne se bada hai.
حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : لَا تَنْفَعُ الصَّلَاةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَطَاعَهَا ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : ﴿ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ ﴾ [ العنكبوت : ٤٥ ] وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : ذِكْرُ اللَّهِ الْعَبْدَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ ذِكْرِ الْعَبْدِ لِرَبِّهِ
