The Words of Abu Umamah

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34730

It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that whoever loves for the sake of Allah and hates for the sake of Allah and gives for the sake of Allah and withholds for the sake of Allah, then his faith has become perfect.

حضرت ابوامامہ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جو شخص اللہ کے لیے محبت کرے اور اللہ کے لیے نفرت کرے اور اللہ کے لیے دے اور اللہ کے لیے روکے تو تحقیق (اس کا) ایمان کامل ہوگیا۔

Hazrat Abu Umama (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke jo shakhs Allah ke liye muhabbat kare aur Allah ke liye nafrat kare aur Allah ke liye de aur Allah ke liye roke to tahqeeq (us ka) imaan kamil hogaya.

أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، قَالَ : « مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِلَّهِ ، وَأَبْغَضَ لِلَّهِ ، وَأَعْطَى لِلَّهِ ، وَمَنَعَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ »
