The Words of Alqamah
كَلَامُ عَلْقَمَةَ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34896
It is narrated on the authority of AbuUmar, he said: We went to Hadrat Umar bin Shuraibail, so he said: Come with us to this man who resembles the most the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in his gait and demeanor. So we went to Hadrat Alqama.
حضرت ابومعمر سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت عمرو بن شرحبیل کے پاس گئے تو انھوں نے فرمایا : ہمارے ساتھ اس آدمی کے پاس چلو جو چال ڈھال میں حضرت عبداللہ کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہ ہے۔ چنانچہ ہم حضرت علقمہ کے پاس گئے۔
Hazrat AbuOmar se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke hum Hazrat Amr bin Sharjeel ke paas gaye to unhon ne farmaya: Humare sath iss aadmi ke paas chalo jo chaal dha mein Hazrat Abdullah ke sab se zyada mushabaha hai. Chunancha hum Hazrat Alqama ke pass gaye.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، فَقَالَ : « انْطَلَقُوا بِنَا إِلَى أَشْبَهِ النَّاسِ سَمْتًا وَهَدْيًا بِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ »، فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَلْقَمَةَ
