The Words of Ubayd ibn Umayr
كَلَامُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ

Abu Mu'awiya reported on the authority of al-A'mash, on the authority of Mujahid, on the authority of 'Ubayd ibn 'Umair, regarding the saying of Allah: { " touched them poverty and adversity" } [ Al-Baqarah 2:214], he said: "Al-Basau: Poverty, and Ad-Darra'u: Hardship", then he said: "As-Sarra'u: Ease, and Ad-Darra'u: Severity."
ابو معاویہ نے اعمش سے روایت کی، انہوں نے مجاہد سے، انہوں نے عبید بن عمیر سے، اللہ کے اس قول کے بارے میں: { "انہیں فقر اور تنگی نے چھوا" } [ البقرہ ٢:٢١٤]، تو انہوں نے کہا: "البأساء: فقر، اور الضراء: سختی" ، پھر انہوں نے کہا: "السراء: آسانی، اور الضراء: شدت"۔
Abu Muawiya ne Aamash se riwayat ki, unhon ne Mujahid se, unhon ne Ubaid bin Umair se, Allah ke is qaul ke bare mein: { "Inhen faqr aur tangi ne chhua" } [Al-Baqarah 2:214], to unhon ne kaha: "Al-basau: faqr, aur ad-diraa: sakhti", phir unhon ne kaha: "As-sarau: aasani, aur ad-diraa: shiddat".
أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ : " ﴿ مَسَّتْهُمْ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢١٤ ] "، قَالَ : " الْبَأْسَاءُ : الْبُؤْسُ ، وَالضَّرَّاءُ : الضُّرُّ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " السَّرَّاءُ : الرَّخَاءُ ، وَالضَّرَّاءُ : الشِّدَّةُ "
