كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
Khaysamah ibn Abdurrahman
خَيْثَمَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35020
It is narrated from Hazrat Khaithamah that he said: The angels submitted: "O Lord! The world has turned away from Your believing servant and he has been put forward for calamities?" The narrator says: Allah Almighty said to the (other) angels: "Show them the reward of the believer." So when the angels saw the reward of the believer, they said: "O Lord! Whatever state the believer may reach in this world, it is not harmful to him." The narrator said: And the angels submitted: "O Lord! Calamities have been removed from Your disbelieving servant and the world has become wide open for him." The narrator says: Allah Almighty said to the angels: "Show them the recompense of the disbeliever." So when the angels saw the recompense of the disbeliever, they said. "O Lord! Whatever the disbeliever gets in this world is not beneficial for him."
حضرت خیثمہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ فرشتوں نے عرض کیا : اے پروردگار ! تیرے مومن بندہ سے دنیا دور ہوگئی ہے اور اس کو مصائب کے لیے آگے کردیا ہے ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں : اللہ تعالیٰ نے (دوسرے) فرشتوں سے کہا : ان کو مومن کا بدلہ دکھاؤ۔ چنانچہ جب فرشتوں نے مومن کا بدلہ دیکھا تو کہنے لگے : اے پروردگار ! مومن کو دنیا میں جو حالت بھی پہنچے یہ اس کو نقصان دہ نہیں ہے۔ راوی کہتے تھے : اور فرشتوں نے عرض کیا : اے پروردگار ! تیرے کافر بندے سے مصائب دور ہوگئے اور اس کے لیے دنیا کشادہ ہوگئی۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : حق تعالیٰ نے فرشتوں سے کہا : ان کے لیے کافر کا بدلہ ظاہر کرو۔ چنانچہ جب فرشتوں نے کافر کا بدلہ دیکھا تو کہنے لگا۔ اے پروردگار ! کافر کو دنیا میں جو بھی ملے اس کے لیے نفع مند نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Hisaam se riwayat hai wo kehte hain ke farishton ne arz kiya: Aye Parwardigaar! Tere momin bande se duniya door hogayi hai aur usko masaib ke liye aage kardiya hai? Rawi kehte hain: Allah Ta'ala ne (doosre) farishton se kaha: Inko momin ka badla dikhaao. Chunancha jab farishton ne momin ka badla dekha to kehne lage: Aye Parwardigaar! Momin ko duniya mein jo haalat bhi pahunche ye usko nuqsaan deh nahin hai. Rawi kehte the: Aur farishton ne arz kiya: Aye Parwardigaar! Tere kaafir bande se masaib door hogaye aur uske liye duniya kushada hogayi. Rawi kehte hain: Haq Ta'ala ne farishton se kaha: Inke liye kaafir ka badla zahir karo. Chunancha jab farishton ne kaafir ka badla dekha to kehne laga: Aye Parwardigaar! Kaafir ko duniya mein jo bhi mile uske liye nafa mand nahin hai.
أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ : تَقُولُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ : " يَا رَبِّ ، عَبْدُك الْمُؤْمِنُ تَزْوِي عَنْهُ الدُّنْيَا وَتُعَرِّضُهُ لِلْبَلَاءِ ، قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ : اكْشِفُوا لَهُمْ عَنْ ثَوَابِهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَوْا ثَوَابَهُ قَالُوا : يَا رَبِّ ، لَا يَضُرُّهُ مَا أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا ، قَالَ : وَيَقُولُونَ : عَبْدُك الْكَافِرُ تَزْوِي عَنْهُ الْبَلَاءَ وَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا ؟ قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ ; اكْشِفُوا لَهُمْ عَنْ عِقَابِهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَوْا عِقَابَهُ قَالُوا : يَا رَبِّ لَا يَنْفَعُهُ مَا أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا " حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، قَالَ: «إنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَطْرُدُ بِالرَّجُلِ الشَّيْطَانَ مِنْ الْأَدْوُرِ»
