The Hadith of Talq ibn Habib
حَدِيثُ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35157
It is narrated from Hazrat Talq bin Habib, he said: There are four things that if given to someone, he has been given the goodness of this world and the hereafter. A person who has a tongue that remembers (Allah), a heart that is grateful, a body that is patient in the face of calamities, and a believing wife who does not betray her husband in any matter.
حضرت طلق بن حبیب سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں چار چیزیں ایسی ہیں کہ وہ جس کو دی جائیں تو اس کو دنیا، آخرت کی خیر دی گئی۔ جس آدمی کو ذکر کرنے والی زبان اور شکر کرنے والا دل اور مصائب پر صبر کرنے والا جسم اور ایسی صاحب ایمان بیوی ملے جو اپنے بارے میں شوہر کے ساتھ کوئی خیانت نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Talq bin Habib se riwayat hai woh kehte hain chaar cheezain aisi hain keh woh jis ko di jain to us ko duniya aakhirat ki khair di gai. Jis aadmi ko zikr karne wali zaban aur shukr karne wala dil aur masaib par sabar karne wala jism aur aisi sahib emaan biwi mile jo apne baare mein shohar ke sath koi khiyanat na kare.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُتْبَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ مَنْ أُوتِيَهُنَّ أُوتِيَ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ : مَنْ أُوتِيَ لِسَانًا ذَاكِرًا ، وَقَلْبًا شَاكِرًا ، وَجَسَدًا عَلَى الْبَلَاءِ صَابِرًا ، وَزَوْجًا مُؤْمِنَةً لَا تَبْغِيهِ فِي نَفْسِهَا خَوْنًا "
