كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
The Hadith of Talq ibn Habib
حَدِيثُ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35158
It is narrated from Hazrat Talq bin Habib that he said, "Indeed, the rights of Allah Almighty are heavier than that the servants can establish them, and the blessings of God are more than that the servants can count them. So repent in the morning and repent in the evening."
حضرت طلق بن حبیب سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ کے حقوق اس سے وزنی ہیں کہ بندے ان کو قائم کریں اور خدا کی نعمتیں اس سے زیادہ ہیں کہ بندے ان کو شمار کریں۔ لہٰذا تم صبح کو بھی توبہ کرو اور شام کو بھی توبہ کرو۔
Hazrat Talq Bin Habib se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke beshak Allah ta'ala ke huqooq us se wazni hain ke bande un ko qaim karen aur Khuda ki naimaten us se ziada hain ke bande un ko shumar karen. Lihaza tum subah ko bhi tauba karo aur sham ko bhi tauba karo.
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ : « إِنَّ حُقُوقَ اللَّهِ أَثْقَلُ مِنْ أَنْ يَقُومَ بِهَا الْعِبَادُ ، وَإِنَّ نِعَمَ اللَّهِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ أَنْ يُحْصِيَهَا الْعِبَادُ ، وَلَكِنْ أَصْبِحُوا تَوَّابِينَ وَأَمْسُوا تَوَّابِينَ »
