كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
The Hadith of Abu Qilabah
حَدِيثُ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35180
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qilaabah that he said that when Allah, the Exalted, cursed Iblis, he asked Allah, the Exalted, for respite. So Allah, the Exalted, granted him respite until the Day of Judgment. Iblis said, "By Your glory, I will remain in the stomach or heart of the son of Adam as long as there is life in him." Allah, the Exalted, said, "By My glory, I will not stop accepting his repentance as long as there is life in him."
حضرت ابوقلابہ سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب ابلیس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ملعون قرار دیا تو اس نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے مہلت مانگی۔ چنانچہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کو قیامت تک مہلت دے دی۔ ابلیس نے کہا : تیری عزت کی قسم ! میں آدم کے بیٹے کے پیٹ یا دل میں تب تک رہوں گا جب تک اس میں روح ہوگی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : میری عزت کی قسم ! جب تک اس میں روح ہوگی میں اس سے توبہ بند نہیں کروں گا۔
Hazrat Abu Qalabah se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke jab iblees ko Allah taala ne maloon karar diya to us ne Allah taala se mohlat mangi. Chunancha Allah taala ne usko qayamat tak mohlat de di. Iblees ne kaha: Teri izzat ki qasam! Main Adam ke bete ke pet ya dil mein tab tak rahun ga jab tak us mein rooh hogi. Allah taala ne farmaya: Meri izzat ki qasam! Jab tak us mein rooh hogi mein us se tauba band nahin karun ga.
الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَّا لَعَنَ إِبْلِيسَ سَأَلَهُ النَّظِرَةَ ، فَأَنْظَرَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ، قَالَ : وَعِزَّتِكَ لَا أَخْرُجُ مِنْ جَوْفِ أَوْ مِنْ قَلْبِ ابْنِ آدَمَ مَا دَامَ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ ، قَالَ : « وَعِزَّتِي لَا أَحْجُبُ عَنْهُ التَّوْبَةَ مَا دَامَ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ »
