كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
The Words of al-Hasan al-Basri
كَلَامُ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ

There is a narration about a Shaikh that whenever he would hear someone asking who will give Allah a good loan, he would say: "Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest." This is a good loan.
ایک شیخ کے بارے میں روایت ہے کہ وہ جب کسی سوال کرنے والے کو سنتے جو کہتا کون اللہ کو قرض حسن دے گا۔ وہ فرماتے : سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ ، وَلاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ یہ قرض حسن ہے۔
aik sheikh ke bare mein riwayat hai ki woh jab kisi sawal karne wale ko sunte jo kehta kaun Allah ko qarz hasan de ga. woh farmate : subhan Allahi wal hamdu lillahi, wa la ilaha illa Allahu wallahu akbar ye qarz hasan hai.
قَبِيصَةُ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ لَهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا سَمِعَ السَّائِلَ يَقُولُ : ﴿ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا ﴾ [ البقرة : ٢٤٥ ] قَالَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، هَذَا الْقَرْضُ الْحَسَنُ "
