كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
What They Said About Crying Out of Fear of Allah
مَا قَالُوا فِي الْبُكَاءِ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35688
Uthman bin Abdullah bin Aus (RA) narrates that one of the prophets used to pray like this, "O Allah! Protect me just like a child is protected." He (the narrator) says that this narration made me cry.
عثمان بن عبداللہ بن اوس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبیوں میں ایک نبی یوں دعا کرتے تھے کہ اے اللہ ! میری اس طرح حفاظت فرما کہ جس طرح بچے کی حفاظت کی جاتی ہے۔ فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے اس بات سے رونا آگیا۔
Usman bin Abdullah bin Aus (RA) farmate hain keh nabiyon mein aik nabi yun dua karte thay keh aye Allah! meri is tarah hifazat farma keh jis tarah bachay ki hifazat ki jati hai. Farmate hain keh mujhe is baat se rona agaya.
إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ الصَّبِيَّ ، قَالَ : فَأَبْكَانِي
