كِتَابُ الْأَوَائِلِ
Chapter on the First Action and Who Did It
بَابُ أَوَّلِ مَا فُعِلَ وَمَنْ فَعَلَهُ

Hazrat Abu Raja states: "The first thing that I learnt from my father Hazrat Abu Musa was {اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ الَّذِی خَلَقَ } (Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created). This was the first verse that was revealed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)"
حضرت ابو رجاء فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے والد حضرت ابو موسیٰ سے سب سے پہلے { اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ الَّذِی خَلَقَ } سیکھی، یہی پہلی آیت تھی جو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر نازل ہوئی۔
Hazrat Abu Raja farmate hain keh maine apne walid Hazrat Abu Moosa se sab se pehle { Iqra bism e rabbikallazi khalaq } seekhi, yehi pehli ayat thi jo Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par nazil hui.
وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ ، قَالَ : « أَخَذْتُ مِنْ أَبِي مُوسَى اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ سُورَةٍ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ »
