Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36102
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered a prayer and you shortened it or made it longer, so when you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned your blessed face towards the people after finishing the prayer, the people said, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), is there anything new in the prayer? You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: What happened? The people said, you have offered prayer like this (with shortening or lengthening). You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bent your feet and performed two prostrations, then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned your blessed face towards the people after finishing the prayer and said: If something new happens in the prayer, I will inform you about it, but I am a human being, like you, I also forget, so when I forget, remind me, and if any of you has any doubt in his prayer, then he should correct it towards what is correct. Then complete the prayer on that correction. Then when you have finished the prayer, perform two prostrations.
حضرت عبداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک نماز پڑھائی اور اس میں آپ نے کمی یا زیادتی کردی، پس جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سلام پھیر کر قوم کی طرف اپنا رُخ مبارک کیا تو لوگوں نے عرض کیا، یار سول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ، نماز میں کوئی نئی چیز درپیش ہوئی ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کار ہوا ؟ لوگوں نے کہا، آپ نے اس طرح (کمی یا زیادتی کے ساتھ) نماز پڑھائی ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے پاؤں موڑے اور دو سجدے فرمائے، پھر آپ نے سلام پھیر کر قوم کی طرف رُخ مبارک کیا اور فرمایا۔ اگر نماز میں کچھ نئی چیز واقع ہوتی تو میں تمہیں اس کی خبر دیتا، لیکن میں ایک بندہ ہوں، تمہاری طرح میں بھی بھول جاتا ہوں، پس جب میں بھول جاؤں تو تم مجھے یاد دلاؤ، اور جب تم میں سے کسی کو اپنی نماز میں شک ہو تو اسے درست بات کی طرف تحری کرنی چاہیے۔ پھر اس تحری پر نماز کو مکمل کرے۔ پس جب سلام پھیر دے تو دو سجدے کرے۔
Hazrat Abdullah se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek namaz parhai aur is mein aap ne kami ya ziyadati kardi, pas jab aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne salaam pher kar qaum ki taraf apna rukh mubarak kiya to logon ne arz kiya, Ya Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), namaz mein koi nayi cheez darpesh hui hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Kar hua? Logon ne kaha, aap ne is tarah (kami ya ziyadati ke saath) namaz parhai hai. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne paon modhe aur do sajde farmaye, phir aap ne salaam pher kar qaum ki taraf rukh mubarak kiya aur farmaya, agar namaz mein kuch nayi cheez waqe hoti to main tumhen is ki khabar deta, lekin main ek banda hun, tumhari tarah main bhi bhul jata hun, pas jab main bhul jaun to tum mujhe yaad dilao, aur jab tum mein se kisi ko apni namaz mein shak ho to use durust baat ki taraf tahri karni chahie, phir is tahri par namaz ko mukammal kare. Pas jab salaam pher de to do sajde kare.
جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاةً فَزَادَ أَوْ نَقَصَ ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ وَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ بِوَجْهِهِ قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَحَدَثَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شَيْءٌ ؟ قَالَ : « وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟» قَالُوا : صَلَّيْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَثَنَى رِجْلَهُ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ : « إِنَّهُ لَوْ حَدَثَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شَيْءٌ أَنْبَأْتُكُمْ بِهِ ، وَلَكِنِّي بَشَرٌ أَنْسَى كَمَا تَنْسَوْنَ ، فَإِذَا نَسِيتُ فَذَكِّرُونِي ، وَإِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَتَحَرَّ الصَّوَابَ فَلْيُتِمَّ عَلَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا سَلَّمَ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ »
