What Was Said About the Migration of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr and the Arrival of Those Who Came
مَا قَالُوا فِي مُهَاجَرِ النَّبِيِّ ﵇ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَقُدُومِ مَنْ قَدِمَ

Hazrat Ibn Abbas, in his commentary on the verse {You were the best community that has been brought forth for mankind} says that it refers to those who migrated with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Medina.
حضرت ابن عباس { کُنْتُمْ خَیْرَ أُمَّۃٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ } کی تفسیر میں فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہمراہ مدینہ کی طرف ہجرت کی۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas { kuntum khaira ummatin ukhrijat lin nas } ki tafseer mein farmate hain keh yeh woh log hain jinhon ne Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke hamrah Madina ki taraf hijrat ki.
عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، ﴿ " كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ ﴾ [ آل عمران : ١١٠ ] قَالَ : هُمُ الَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ "
