Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36864
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) dispatched a reconnaissance patrol comprising ten persons and appointed 'Asim b. Thabit as their commander. They set out till, when they were in the place called Had'a, mention was made to a branch of Hudhail called Banu Lihyan about them, and they (the latter) sent against them one hundred archers. These (archers) saw their resting place where they had eaten dates, and said: These are the date-stones of Yathrib (Medina). They followed their (Muslims') footprints till, when 'Asim and his companions felt that they were being pursued, they took shelter in a mountain, and the others (archers) besieged them and called upon them to come down, and gave them a pledge. Thereupon 'Asim said: I would never come down on the pledge of an infidel. 0 Allah, do convey to Your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the news about us. And Ibn Dathina jumped at him.
حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دس افراد پر مشتمل ایک جاسوس سریہ روانہ فرمایا اور ان پر عاصم بن ثابت کو امیر مقرر فرمایا۔ پس یہ لوگ نکلے یہاں تک کہ جب یہ لوگ مقام ہدہ میں تھے تو (ان کے بارے میں) ہذیل کی ایک شاخ بنو لحیان سے ذکر کیا گیا تو انھوں نے ان کی طرف ایک سو تیر انداز مرد بھیجے۔ ان تیر اندازوں نے ان کے کھانے کے مقام کو ۔۔۔ جہاں انھوں نے کھجوریں کھائی تھیں۔۔۔ دیکھا تو بولے، یہ تو یثرب کی (کھجوروں کی) گٹھلیاں ہیں۔ پھر وہ لوگ ان کے نشانات قدم پر چلے یہاں تک کہ جب عاصم اور ان کے ساتھیوں کو ان کے آنے کا احساس ہوا تو انھوں نے ایک پہاڑ کی طرف پناہ پکڑی۔ اور دوسرے لوگوں (تیر اندازوں) نے ان کا احاطہ کرلیا اور ان سے نیچے اترنے کو کہا۔ اور انھیں عہد (امان) دیا۔ تو حضرت عاصم نے فرمایا : میں کسی کافر کے عہد (امان) پر نیچے نہیں اتروں گا۔ اے اللہ ! تو اپنے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ہمارے بارے میں خبر پہنچا دے اور ابن دثنہ بیاظی اس کی طرف اتر گیا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne dasafraad per mushtamil ek jasoos sariya rawana farmaya aur un per Asim bin Thabit ko ameer muqarrar farmaya. Pas yeh log nikle yahan tak keh jab yeh log maqam Huda mein thay to (un ke baaray mein) Hazil ki ek shakh Banu Lihyan se zikar kiya gaya to unhon ne un ki taraf ek so teer andaz mard bheje. Un teer andazon ne un ke khanay ke maqam ko ... jahan unhon ne khajuren khayi thin .... dekha to bole, yeh to yasrab ki (khajuren ki) guthliyan hain. Phir woh log un ke nishanaat qadam per chalay yahan tak keh jab Asim aur un ke saathiyon ko un ke aanay ka ehsaas hua to unhon ne ek pahad ki taraf panah pakari. Aur doosre logon (teer andazon) ne un ka ehtisa karliya aur un se neechay utarne ko kaha. Aur unhen ahd (amaan) diya. To Hazrat Asim ne farmaya: mein kisi kaafir ke ahd (amaan) per neechay nahin utaroon ga. Aye Allah! Tu apne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko hamare baaray mein khabar pahuncha de aur Ibn Dathina Bayazi uski taraf utar gaya.
جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو أَوْ عُمَرُ بْنُ أُسَيْدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ " بَعَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَهْطٍ سَرِيَّةً عَيْنًا ، وَأَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ ، فَخَرَجُوا حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِالْهَدَأَةِ ذُكِرُوا لِحَيٍّ مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُمْ بَنُو لِحْيَانَ ، فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِائَةَ رَجُلٍ رَامِيًا ، فَوَجَدُوا مَأْكَلَهُمْ حَيْثُ أَكَلُوا التَّمْرَ ، فَقَالُوا : هَذِهِ نَوَى يَثْرِبَ ، ثُمَّ اتَّبَعُوا آثَارَهُمْ حَتَّى إِذَا أَحَسَّ بِهِمْ عَاصِمٌ وَأَصْحَابُهُ لَجَأُوا إِلَى جَبَلٍ ، فَأَحَاطَ بِهِمُ الْآخَرُونَ ، فَاسْتَنْزَلُوهُمْ وَأَعْطَوْهُمُ الْعَهْدَ ، فَقَالَ عَاصِمٌ : وَاللَّهِ لَا أَنْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ كَافِرٍ ، اللَّهُمَّ أَخْبِرْ نَبِيَّكَ عَنَّا ، وَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ ابْنُ دَثِنَةَ الْبَيَاضِيُّ "
