Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36905
It is narrated by Hazrat Jabir that we entered Makkah with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we also entered the Kaaba and there were three hundred and sixty idols in the Kaaba which were worshipped besides Allah... The narrator states: Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered about these idols, then all the idols were thrown down. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Truth has come and falsehood has perished and indeed falsehood is a thing which is bound to perish. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the Kaaba and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of prayer in the Kaaba. And you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw in the Kaaba pictures (attributed to) Hazrat Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq, in which the polytheists had made (pictures of) arrows in their hands, by which fortune was told. So, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (seeing this scene) said: May Allah destroy them (the polytheists), Ibrahim did not tell fortunes with arrows. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for saffron and by it he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) erased those pictures.
حضرت جابر سے روایت ہے کہ ہم جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہمراہ مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور بیت اللہ میں (بھی) داخل ہوئے اور بیت اللہ کے گرد تین سو ساٹھ بت ایسے موجود تھے جن کی خدا کے سوا عبادت کی جاتی تھی ۔۔۔ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں : پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان بتوں کے بارے میں حکم فرمایا تو تمام بتوں کو اوندھے منہ گرا دیا گیا۔ پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : حق آن پہنچا اور باطل مٹ گیا اور یقیناً باطل ایسی ہی چیز ہے جو مٹنے والی ہے۔ پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیت اللہ کے اندر داخل ہوئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بیت اللہ میں دو رکعات نماز ادا فرمائی۔ اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بیت اللہ میں حضرت ابراہیم اور اسماعیل اور اسحاق کی ( طرف منسوب) تصویریں دیکھیں اس حال میں کہ ان کے ہاتھوں میں مشرکین نے تیروں (کی تصویر) بنائی ہوئی تھی جن کے ذریعہ سے قسمت آزمائی کی جاتی تھی۔ تو نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے (یہ منظر دیکھ کر) ارشاد فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ ان (مشرکین) کو ہلاک کرے ، ابراہیم تو تیروں سے قسمت آزمائی نہیں کرتے تھے۔ پھر جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے زعفران منگوایا اور اس کے ذریعہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ان تصاویر کو مسخ فرما دیا۔
Hazrat Jaber se riwayat hai ki hum Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hamrah Makkah mein dakhil huay aur Baitullah mein (bhi) dakhil huay aur Baitullah ke gird teen sau saath but aise mojood thay jin ki Khuda ke siwa ibadat ki jati thi ... Ravi bayan karte hain : phir Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un buton ke baare mein hukum farmaya to tamam buton ko aundhe munh gira diya gaya. Phir Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya : Haq aan pahuncha aur baatil mit gaya aur yaqinan baatil aisi hi cheez hai jo mitne wali hai. Phir Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Baitullah ke andar dakhil huay aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Baitullah mein do rakat namaz ada farmai. Aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Baitullah mein Hazrat Ibrahim aur Ismail aur Ishaq ki (taraf mansoob) tasveerein dekheen is haal mein ki un ke hathon mein mushrikeen ne teeron (ki tasveer) banayi hui thi jin ke zariye se qismat azmai ki jati thi. To Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne (yeh manzar dekh kar) irshad farmaya : Allah Ta'ala un (mushrikeen) ko halak kare, Ibrahim to teeron se qismat azmai nahin karte thay. Phir Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne zaafran mangoaya aur is ke zariye aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un tasveeron ko maskh farma diya.
شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " دَخَلْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَكَّةَ فِي الْبَيْتِ وَحَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ ثَلَاثُمِائَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ صَنَمًا تُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : فَأَمَرَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكُبَّتْ كُلُّهَا لِوُجُوهِهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : ﴿ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا ﴾ [ الإسراء : ٨١ ] ثُمَّ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْبَيْتَ فَصَلَّى فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، فَرَأَى فِيهِ تِمْثَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَقَدْ جَعَلُوا فِي يَدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَزْلَامَ يَسْتَقْسِمُ بِهَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ، مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَسْتَقْسِمُ بِالْأَزْلَامِ » ، ثُمَّ دَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِزَعْفَرَانٍ فَلَطَّخَهُ بِتِلْكَ التَّمَاثِيلِ "
