كِتَابُ الْمَغَازِي
What Was Said About the Death of the Prophet ﷺ
مَا جَاءَ فِي وَفَاةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib that out of all the people, the four who were entrusted with the burial of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and lowering him into the grave were: Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Abbas, Hazrat Fadhl, and Saleh, the freed slave of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So, these people prepared the niche for him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed unbaked bricks over him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
حضرت سعید بن مسیب سے روایت ہے کہ تمام لوگوں میں سے جن کو نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا دفن کرنا اور قبر میں اتارنا سونپا گیا تھا وہ چار لوگ تھے ۔ حضرت علی ، حضرت عباس ، حضرت فضل اور نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے آزاد کردہ غلام صالح۔ چنانچہ ان لوگوں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے لیے لحد بنائی اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر کچی اینٹیں نصب کیں۔
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab se riwayat hai ke tamam logon mein se jin ko Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka dafan karna aur qabar mein utarna sonpa gaya tha wo chaar log thay. Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Abbas, Hazrat Fazal aur Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke azad kardah ghulam Saleh. Chunancha in logon ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke liye lahad banayi aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par kachi eenten nasb keen.
عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ الَّذِي وَلِيَ دَفْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَإِجْنَانَهُ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ دُونَ النَّاسِ : عَلِيٌّ وَعَبَّاسٌ وَالْفَضْلُ وَصَالِحٌ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ، فَلَحَدُوا لَهُ وَنَصَبُوا عَلَيْهِ اللَّبِنَ نَصْبًا "
