On the Journey of Aisha, Ali, Talha, and Az-Zubair
فِي مَسِيرِ عَائِشَةَ وَعَلِيٍّ وَطَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ

It is narrated from Amr bin Murrah that I heard Suwayd bin Harith saying, "We saw on the day of the Battle of Camel that our spears and their spears were so interlocked that if people wanted, they could walk on them. Some people were raising slogans of Allah Akbar, some were raising slogans of Subhan Allah Allah Akbar, and some were saying, 'There is no doubt about it. I wish I had not participated in this battle.' And Abdullah bin Salmah used to say, 'It doesn't feel good to me that I did not participate in the Battle of Camel. I like to be present in every place where Hazrat Ali is present.'
عمرو بن مرہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے سوید بن حارث کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا ہم نے جنگ جمل کے دن دیکھا کہ ہمارے نیزے اور ان کے نیزے آپس میں ایسے گھسے ہوئے تھے کہ اگر لوگ چاہتے تو ان پر چل سکتے تھے۔ کچھ لوگ اللہ اکبر کے نعرے بلند کررہے تھے اور کچھ سبحان اللہ اللہ اکبر کے نعرے لگار ہے تھے اور کچھ لوگ کہہ رہے تھے کہ اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔ کاش میں اس جنگ میں شریک نہ ہوتا۔ اور عبداللہ بن سلمہ فرمایا کرتے تھے مجھے یہ بات بھلی معلوم نہیں ہوتی کہ میں جنگ جمل میں شریک نہیں ہوا۔ میں پسند کرتا ہوں ہر اس حاضر ہونے کی جگہ حاضر ہوں جہاں حضرت علی شریک ہوں۔

Kuch log Allah Akbar ke nare buland kar rahe the aur kuch Subhan Allah Allah Akbar ke nare laga rahe the aur kuch log keh rahe the keh is mein koi shak nahin. Kash mein is jang mein sharik na hota. Aur Abdullah bin Salmah farmaya karte the mujhe yeh baat bhali maloom nahin hoti keh mein jang Jamal mein sharik nahin hua. Mein pasand karta hun har us hazir hone ki jagah hazir hun jahan Hazrat Ali sharik hun.
غُنْدَرٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُوَيْدَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ وَإِنَّ رِمَاحَنَا وَرِمَاحَهُمْ لَمُتَشَاجِرَةٌ ، وَلَوْ شَاءَتِ الرُّجَّالُ لَمَشَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ ; يَقُولُونَ : اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، وَيَقُولُونَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، وَيَقُولُونَ : لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَكٌّ ; وَلَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَشْهَدْ ، وَيَقُولُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ : وَلَكِنِّي مَا سَرَّنِي أَنِّي لَمْ أَشْهَدْ ، وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّ كُلَّ مَشْهَدٍ شَهِدَهُ عَلِيٌّ شَهِدْتُهُ "
