On the Journey of Aisha, Ali, Talha, and Az-Zubair
فِي مَسِيرِ عَائِشَةَ وَعَلِيٍّ وَطَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ

It is narrated from Abd Khair: During the Battle of Jamal, a tent was pitched between the two armies for three days. Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Talha, Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them) used to visit there and talk about what Allah willed. When the third day came, after noon, Hazrat Ali lifted a side of the tent and ordered the attack. Then we started moving towards each other, we started throwing spears at each other, so much so that if a person wanted to walk on those spears, he could have walked. Then we raised our swords, and I cannot compare them except with the house of Waleed.
عبد خیر سے روایت ہے جنگ جمل کے دوران تین دن تک دونوں لشکروں کے درمیان ایک خیمہ گاڑھا گیا۔ حضرت علی ، حضرت طلحہ، حضرت زبیر (رض) عنھم وہاں تشریف لاتے اور اس بارے میں باتیں کرتے جو اللہ چاہتا حتیٰ کہ جب تیسرا دن ہوا تو دوپہر کے بعد حضرت علی نے خمہں کی ایک جانب اٹھائی اور قتال کا حکم دیا۔ پھر ہم نے ایک دوسرے کی جانب چلنا شروع کیا ایک دوسرے کی طرف نیزے چلانے شروع کیے یہاں تک کہ اگر کوئی شخص ان نیزوں کے اوپر چلنا چاہتا تو چل سکتا تھا پھر ہم نے تلواریں اٹھائیں اور ان کو میں تشبیہ نہیں دیتا مگر ولید کے گھر کے ساتھ۔
Abd Khair se riwayat hai Jang Jamal ke doran teen din tak dono lashkaron ke darmiyan ek khaima gaadha gaya. Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Talha, Hazrat Zubair (RA) wahan tashreef laate aur is baare mein baatein karte jo Allah chahta hatta ke jab teesra din hua to dophar ke baad Hazrat Ali ne khaimon ki ek janib uthai aur qitaal ka hukm diya. Phir hum ne ek doosre ki janib chalna shuru kiya ek doosre ki taraf neze chalane shuru kiye yahan tak ke agar koi shakhs in nezon ke upar chalna chahta to chal sakta tha phir hum ne talwarain uthain aur un ko mein tashbeeh nahi deta magar Waleed ke ghar ke sath.
يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : ضُرِبَ فُسْطَاطٌ بَيْنَ الْعَسْكَرَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، فَكَانَ عَلِيٌّ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَطَلْحَةُ يَأْتُونَهُ ، فَيَذْكُرُونَ فِيهِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الثَّالِثِ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ رَفَعَ عَلِيٌّ جَانِبَ الْفُسْطَاطِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالْقِتَالِ ، فَمَشَى بَعْضُنَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ ، وَشَجَرْنَا بِالرِّمَاحِ حَتَّى لَوْ شَاءَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ عَلَيْهَا لَمَشَى ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَتْنَا السُّيُوفُ فَمَا شَبَهَتْهَا إِلَّا دَارُ الْوَلِيدِ "
