كِتَابُ الْجَمَلِ
On the Journey of Aisha, Ali, Talha, and Az-Zubair
فِي مَسِيرِ عَائِشَةَ وَعَلِيٍّ وَطَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 37815
It is narrated from Hazrat Aswad that when Zubair bin Awwam came to Basra, he entered Baitul Mal, where there were heaps of gold and silver. Then he said, "Allah has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture, so He has hastened for you this." (Al-Fath 21) And [He has promised] another [victory] that you did not reach [i.e., achieve] with your [own] ability; but [instead,] Allah has already encompassed it. And then he said, "This is for us."
حضرت اسود سے روایت ہے کہ زبیر بن عوام جب بصرہ تشریف لائے بیت المال میں داخل ہوئے وہاں سونے چاندی کے ڈھیر تھے پھر فرمایا ” وعدہ کیا تم سے اللہ نے بہت غنیمتوں کا کہ تم ان کو لوگے، سو جلدی پہنچا دی تم کو یہ غنیمت “ (الفتح ٢١) اور ایک فتح اور جو تمہارے بس میں نہیں تھی وہ اللہ کے قابو میں ہے۔ پھر فرمایا یہ ہمارے لیے ہے۔
Hazrat Aswad se riwayat hai ke Zubair bin Awam jab Basra tashreef laaye bait ul mal mein daakhil huye wahan sone chandi ke dhair thay phir farmaya "waada kiya tumse Allah ne bahut ghanimaton ka ke tum in ko loge, so jaldi pohancha diya tum ko yeh ghanimat" (Al-Fath 21) aur ek fatah aur jo tumhare bas mein nahi thi wo Allah ke qaboo mein hai. Phir farmaya yeh hamare liye hai.
عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ ، لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْبَصْرَةَ دَخَلَ بَيْتَ الْمَالِ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِصَفْرَاءَ وَبَيْضَاءَ ، فَقَالَ : ﴿ وَعَدَكُمُ اللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِيرَةً تَأْخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمْ هَذِهِ ﴾ [ الفتح : ٢٠ ] ﴿ وَأُخْرَى لَمْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهَا قَدْ أَحَاطَ اللَّهُ بِهَا ﴾ [ الفتح : ٢١ ] فَقَالَ : هَذَا لَنَا .
