الْكِتَابُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ
The prayer of the one sitting is half of the prayer of the one standing

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 4633
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The reward of prayer offered while sitting is half of the reward of prayer offered while standing."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنے سے نصف ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya ke baith kar namaz parhne ka sawab khare ho kar namaz parhne se nisf hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مُوسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ أُرَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ : صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ
