Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 7866
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abi Layla narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once offered prayer with his shoes on, so the people also started praying with their shoes on. When you (the Prophet) took off your shoes, the people also took off their shoes. After finishing the prayer, you (the Prophet) said that whoever wants to pray with his shoes on, can pray with his shoes on, and whoever wants to pray with his shoes off, can pray with his shoes off.
حضرت عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی جوتیوں میں نماز ادا فرمائی تو لوگ بھی جوتیاں پہن کر نماز پڑھنے لگے۔ آپ نے اپنے جوتے اتارے تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنے جوتے اتار دیئے۔ نماز سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد آپ نے فرمایا کہ جو اپنے جوتوں میں نماز پڑھنا چاہے جوتوں میں پڑھ لے اور جو جوتے اتار کر نماز پڑھنا چاہے وہ اپنے جوتے اتار کر نماز پڑھ لے۔
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila farmate hain keh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni jootion mein namaz ada farmaai to log bhi jootian pehen kar namaz parhne lage. Aap ne apne joote utaare to logon ne bhi apne joote utaar diye. Namaz se farigh hone ke baad aap ne farmaya keh jo apne jootion mein namaz parhna chahe jootion mein parh le aur jo joote utaar kar namaz parhna chahe woh apne joote utaar kar namaz parh le.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي نَعْلَيْهِ ، فَصَلَّى النَّاسُ فِي نِعَالِهِمْ ، فَخَلَعَ فَخَلَعُوا ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ : « مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي نَعْلَيْهِ فَلْيُصَلِّ ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَخْلَعَ فَلْيَخْلَعْ »
