Kathir bin Amr bin Awf Al-Muzani narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘reconciliation is allowed among the Muslims, except for reconciliation that makes the lawful unlawful, or the unlawful lawful. And the Muslims will be held to their conditions, except the conditions that make the lawful unlawful, or the unlawful lawful.’ Imam Tirmidhi said, this Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

عمرو بن عوف مزنی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”صلح مسلمان کے درمیان نافذ ہو گی سوائے ایسی صلح کے جو کسی حلال کو حرام کر دے یا کسی حرام کو حلال۔ اور مسلمان اپنی شرطوں کے پابند ہیں۔ سوائے ایسی شرط کے جو کسی حلال کو حرام کر دے یا کسی حرام کو حلال“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Amr bin Aouf Mazni (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne farmaya: "Sulh Musalman ke darmiyan nafiz ho gi sawai aisi sulh ke jo kisi halal ko haram kar de ya kisi haram ko halal. Aur Musalman apni sharton ke paband hain. Sawai aisi shart ke jo kisi halal ko haram kar de ya kisi haram ko halal"". Imam Tirmizi kehte hain: "Yeh hadees hasan sahih hai."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: الصُّلْحُ جَائِزٌ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، إِلَّا صُلْحًا حَرَّمَ حَلَالًا، أَوْ أَحَلَّ حَرَامًا، وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى شُرُوطِهِمْ إِلَّا شَرْطًا حَرَّمَ حَلَالًا، أَوْ أَحَلَّ حَرَامًا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
