Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3002
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that on the Day of Uhud, the incisors of the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) were broken, and he had a facial wound in the area of the forehead, such that the blood flowed over his face. He said, 'How can a people that do this to their Prophet succeed, while he is calling them to Allah?' So, the following was revealed - [They are not your responsibility (O' Prophet ﷺ). It is for Allah (جَلَّ ذُو) to either punish theؑ or forgive theؑ (if they repent). Imam Tirmidhi said, this Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جنگ احد میں نبی اکرم ﷺ کے سامنے کے چاروں دانت ( رباعیہ ) توڑ دیئے گئے، اور پیشانی زخمی کر دی گئی، یہاں تک کہ خون آپ کے مبارک چہرے پر بہ پڑا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”بھلا وہ قوم کیوں کر کامیاب ہو گی جو اپنے نبی کے ساتھ اس طرح کا برتاؤ کرے، جب کہ حال یہ ہو کہ وہ نبی انہیں اللہ کی طرف بلا رہا ہو۔ تو یہ آیت «ليس لك من الأمر شيء أو يتوب عليهم أو يعذبهم» ۱؎ نازل ہوئی“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Anas raza Allah anhu kehte hain ke jang Uhud mein Nabi Akram sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke samne ke chaaron daant (rubaiya) to tor diye gaye, aur peshani zakhmi kar di gayi, yahan tak ke khoon aap ke mubarak chehre par beh pada. Aap ne farmaya: “Bhala woh qaum kyon kar kaamyab ho gi jo apne nabi ke sath is tarah ka bartao kare, jab ke hal yeh ho ke woh nabi unhen Allah ki taraf bula raha ho. To yeh aayat «ليس لك من الأمر شيء أو يتوب عليهم أو يعذبهم» 1؎ nazil hui”. Imam Tirmizi kehte hain: Yeh hadees hasan sahih hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُسِرَتْ رَبَاعِيَتُهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ وَشُجَّ وَجْهُهُ شَجَّةً فِي جَبْهَتِهِ حَتَّى سَالَ الدَّمُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: كَيْفَ يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ فَعَلُوا هَذَا بِنَبِيِّهِمْ وَهُوَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ، فَنَزَلَتْ: لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ سورة آل عمران آية 128 إِلَى آخِرِهَا ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
