Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3775
Narrated Ya'la bin Murrah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Husain is from me, and I am from Husain. Allah loves whoever loves Husain. Husain is a Sibt among the Asbat. [Asbat, plural of Sibt: A great tribe. Meaning, Al-Husain would have many offspring, such that they would become a great tribe. And this has indeed occurred. See Tuhfat Al-Ahwadhi (4/341).] Imam Tirmidhi says: "1- This hadith is hasan; we know it only through the narration of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym. 2- It has been narrated by multiple people from Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym."

یعلیٰ بن مرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”حسین مجھ سے ہیں اور میں حسین سے ہوں ۱؎ اللہ اس شخص سے محبت کرتا ہے جو حسین سے محبت کرتا ہے، حسین قبائل میں سے ایک قبیلہ ہیں“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے ہم اسے صرف عبداللہ بن عثمان بن خثیم کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- اسے عبداللہ بن عثمان بن خثیم سے متعدد لوگوں نے روایت کیا ہے۔
Ya'liٰ bin Marah radiyallahu 'anhu kehte hain ke Rasul-Allah salla-llahu 'alaihi wa sallam ne farmaya: ''Husain mujh se hain aur main Husain se hun 1؎ Allah us shakhs se mohabbat karta hai jo Husain se mohabbat karta hai, Husain qabail mein se ek qabila hain'' 2؎. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain 1. yeh hadees hasan hai hum ise sirf 'Abd-Allah bin 'Uthman bin Khathim ki riwayat se jaante hain, 2. ise 'Abd-Allah bin 'Uthman bin Khathim se muta'adid logoon ne riwayat kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ، أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ حُسَيْنًا، حُسَيْنٌ سِبْطٌ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ، وَإِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ.
