Sunan Abi Dawud 1243
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) led one section in one rak'a of prayer and the other section was facing the enemy. Then they turned away and took the position of the other section. They (the other section) came and he (the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ) led them in the second rak'a. He then uttered the salutation. Thereafter they stood up and completed the remaining rak'a, they went away and the other section completed their remaining rak'a. Imam Abu Dawood said, ‘this tradition has been narrated by Nafi' and Khalid bin Ma'dan from Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) in the same as from the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). This has also been transmitted similarly by Masruq ad Yusuf bin Mihran on the authority of Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه). This has been narrated by Yunus from al-Hasan from Abu Musa something similarly, saying that Abu Musa has done so.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک جماعت کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی اور دوسری جماعت دشمن کے سامنے رہی پھر یہ جماعت جا کر پہلی جماعت کی جگہ کھڑی ہو گئی اور وہ جماعت ( نبی اکرم ﷺ کے پیچھے ) آ گئی تو آپ نے ان کو بھی ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر آپ نے سلام پھیر دیا، پھر یہ لوگ کھڑے ہوئے اور اپنی رکعت پوری کی اور وہ لوگ بھی ( جو دشمن کے سامنے چلے گئے تھے ) کھڑے ہوئے اور انہوں نے اپنی رکعت پوری کی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسی طرح یہ حدیث نافع اور خالد بن معدان نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ابن عمر نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے روایت کی ہے۔ اور یہی قول مسروق اور یوسف بن مہران ہے جسے وہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کرتے ہیں، اسی طرح یونس نے حسن سے اور انہوں نے ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے ایسا ہی کیا۔
Abdullah bin Umar razi Allahu anhuma kehte hain ki Rasul Allah ﷺ ne ek jamaat ko ek rakat parhaee aur dusri jamaat dushman ke samne rahi phir yeh jamaat ja kar pehli jamaat ki jagah khari ho gai aur woh jamaat ( Nabi akram ﷺ ke peechhe ) aa gai to aap ne un ko bhi ek rakat parhaee phir aap ne salam phir diya, phir yeh log kharay huye aur apni rakat puri ki aur woh log bhi ( jo dushman ke samne chale gaye the ) kharay huye aur unhon ne apni rakat puri ki. Abu Dawud kehte hain: isi tarah yeh hadees Naafi aur Khalid bin Ma'dan ne Ibn Umar razi Allahu anhuma se Ibn Umar ne Nabi akram ﷺ se riwayat ki hai. Aur yahi qaul Masruq aur Yusuf bin Mahran hai jise woh Ibn Abbas razi Allahu anhuma se riwayat karte hain, isi tarah Yunus ne Hasan se aur unhon ne Abu Musa razi Allahu anhu se riwayat ki hai ki aap ne aisa hi kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً وَالطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةُ الْعَدُوِّ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا فَقَامُوا فِي مَقَامِ أُولَئِكَ، وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، ثُمَّ قَامَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ، وَقَامَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَقَضَوْا رَكْعَتَهُمْ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ نَافِعٌ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَكَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ مَسْرُوقٍ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَى يُونُسُ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّهُ فَعَلَهُ.
