Chapter: A child who commits a crime that is subject to a had (punishment)

باب فِي الْغُلاَمِ يُصِيبُ الْحَدَّ

Sunan Abi Dawud 4407

Nafi narrated that when he mentioned this Hadith to Umar.bin Abdulaziz he said, this prescribed punishment is between the minor and the major.

Grade: Sahih

نافع کہتے ہیں اس حدیث کو میں نے عمر بن عبدالعزیز سے بیان کیا تو انہوں نے کہا: یہی بالغ اور نابالغ کی حد ہے۔

Nafi' kehte hain is hadees ko maine Umar bin Abdul Aziz se bayan kiya to unhon ne kaha: Yehi baaligh aur naabaaligh ki had hai.

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ نَافِعٌ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَدُّ بَيْنَ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ.
