Sunan Abi Dawud 4587
Abdul Aziz ibn Umar ibn Abdul Aziz narrated that some people of the deputation which came to my father reported the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) as saying, any physician who practices medicine when he was not known as a practitioner before that, and he harms (the patients) he will be held responsible. Abdul Aziz said, here, physician does not refer to a man by qualification. it means opening a vein, incision and cauterization.

عبدالعزیزبن عمر بن عبدالعزیز کہتے ہیں میرے والد کے پاس آنے والوں میں سے ایک شخص نے مجھ سے بیان کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو کسی قوم میں طبیب بن بیٹھے، حالانکہ اس سے پہلے اس کی طب دانی معروف نہ ہو اور مریض کا مرض بگڑ جائے اور اس کو نقصان لاحق ہو جائے تو وہ اس کا ضامن ہو گا ۔ عبدالعزیز کہتے ہیں: «اعنت نعت» سے نہیں ( بلکہ «عنت» سے ہے جس کے معنی ) رگ کاٹنے، زخم چیرنے یا داغنے کے ہیں۔
Abdul Aziz bin Umar bin Abdul Aziz kehte hain mere walid ke pas aane walon mein se ek shakhsh ne mujh se bayan kiya hai ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo kisi qoum mein tabib ban baithe halanki is se pehle us ki tab daani ma'roof nah ho aur mureez ka marz bigad jaye aur us ko nuqsan lahaq ho jaye to woh is ka zaman ho ga Abdul Aziz kehte hain A'nat Na'at se nahi balki A'nat se hai jiske mani rag kaatne zakhm cheerne ya daagne ke hain
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ الْوَفْد الَّذِينَ قُدِمُوا عَلَى أَبِي، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّمَا طَبِيبٍ تَطَبَّبَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ لَا يُعْرَفُ لَهُ تَطَبُّبٌ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ فَأَعْنَتَ فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ: أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِالنَّعْتِ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ قَطْعُ الْعُرُوقِ وَالْبَطُّ وَالْكَيُّ.
