Chapter: The Supplication With Which The Prayer Should Be Started

باب مَا يُسْتَفْتَحُ بِهِ الصَّلاَةُ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ

The above-mentioned tradition has also been reported by Jubair bin Mut’im (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through a different chain of narrators. This version adds : I heard the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uttering (all these supplications) in a supererogatory prayer; he narrated the tradition in a similar manner.

جبیر بن مطعم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم ﷺ کو نفل نماز میں کہتے سنا، پھر انہوں نے اسی طرح کی روایت ذکر کی۔
Jabir bin Mu'tam رضی اللہ عنہ kehte hain ke main ne Nabi Akram صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ko nafl namaz mein kehte suna, phir unhon ne isi tarah ki riwayat zikr ki.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
