Sunan Abi Dawud 766
Asim ibn Humayd narrated that he asked Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) by what words the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would begin his supererogatory prayer at night? She replied, you ask me about a thing of which no one asked me before you. When he stood up, be uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) ten times, and uttered "Praise be to Allah" ten times, and uttered "Glory be to Allah " ten times, and uttered "There is no god but Allah" ten times, and sought forgiveness ten times, and said : O Allah, forgive me, and guide me, and give me sustenance, and keep me well, and he sought refuge in Allah from the hardship of standing before Allah on the Day of Judgment. Imam Abu Dawood said, this tradition has also been narrated by Khalid bin Ma'dan from Rab'ia al-Jarashi on the authority of Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها).

عاصم بن حمید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا: رسول اللہ ﷺ قیام اللیل ( تہجد ) کو کس دعا سے شروع کرتے تھے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: تم نے مجھ سے ایک ایسی چیز کے متعلق پوچھا ہے کہ تم سے پہلے کسی نے بھی اس کے متعلق مجھ سے نہیں پوچھا، آپ ﷺ جب نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو دس بار «الله اكبر» ، دس بار «الحمد الله» ، دس بار«سبحان الله» ، دس بار «لا إله إلا الله» ، اور دس بار «استغفر الله» کہتے اور یہ دعا کرتے: «اللهم اغفر لي واهدني وارزقني وعافني» اللہ! میری مغفرت فرما، مجھے ہدایت دے، مجھے رزق عطا کر، اور مجھے عافیت سے رکھ ، پھر قیامت کے دن ( سوال کے لیے ) کھڑے ہونے کی پریشانی سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے خالد بن معدان نے ربیعہ جرشی سے ربیعہ نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ سے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔
Aasim bin Hamid kehte hain ke main ne ummul momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se poocha: Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) qiyam al-lail (tahajjud) ko kis dua se shuru karte the? To unhon ne kaha: Tum ne mujh se ek aisi cheez ke mutalliq poocha hai ke tum se pehle kisi ne bhi is ke mutalliq mujh se nahi poocha, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab namaz ke liye kharay hote to das bar «Allah Akbar» , das bar «Alhamdulillah» , das bar «Subhan Allah» , das bar «La ilaha illallah» , aur das bar «Astagfirullah» kehte aur yeh dua karte: «Allahummaghfir li wa-hdinni wa-rizqni wa-afini» Allah! Meri maghfirat farma, mujhe hidayat de, mujhe rizq ata kar, aur mujhe aafat se rakh , phir qiyaamat ke din ( sawal ke liye ) kharay hone ki pareshani se panaah mangte the. Abu Dawood kehte hain: Isse Khalid bin Muadan ne Rabi'ah Jarashi se Rabi'ah ne ummul momineen Ayesha se isi tarah riwayat kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْحَرَازِيُّ، عَنْعَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلْتُ عَائِشَةَ: بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ يَفْتَتِحُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ ؟ فَقَالَتْ: لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ، كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ كَبَّرَ عَشْرًا وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَشْرًا وَسَبَّحَ عَشْرًا وَهَلَّلَ عَشْرًا وَاسْتَغْفَرَ عَشْرًا، وَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَعَافِنِي، وَيَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ ضِيقِ الْمَقَامِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَرَوَاهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ الْجُرَشِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، نَحْوَهُ.
