Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 115
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best of companions in the sight of Allah Almighty is the best of them towards his companion, and the best of neighbours in the sight of Allah is the best of them towards his neighbour."

حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما رسول اللہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا:’’اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک ساتھیوں میں سے بہترین ساتھی وہ ہے جو اپنے ساتھی کے لیے بہتر ہو، اور اللہ کے نزدیک پڑوسیوں میں سے بہترین پڑوسی وہ ہے جو اپنے پڑوسی کے لیے بہتر ہو۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro raza Allah anhuma Rasool Allah se bayan karte hain ke aap ne farmaya: Allah taala ke nazdeek saathiyon mein se behtarin saathi wo hai jo apne saathi ke liye behtar ho, aur Allah ke nazdeek padosiyon mein se behtarin padosi wo hai jo apne padosi ke liye behtar ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ: خَيْرُ الأَصْحَابِ عِنْدَ اللهِ تَعَالَى خَيْرُهُمْ لِصَاحِبِهِ، وَخَيْرُ الْجِيرَانِ عِنْدَ اللهِ تَعَالَى خَيْرُهُمْ لِجَارِهِ.
