It is narrated on the authority of Amr bin Taghlib that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) received something. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave it to some people and left out some others. Later, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know that the people whom he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had left out were somewhat annoyed and were talking about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ascended the pulpit and after praising and glorifying Allah, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I give to some people and leave out some others, although the one whom I leave out is dearer to me than the one to whom I give. I give to some people only because their hearts are filled with impatience and greed, and I entrust some people with the wealth and goodness that Allah has created in their hearts, and among them is Amr bin Taghlib.” I was sitting right in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at that time. I would not have liked to be given even red camels in exchange for that statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت عمرو بن تغلب سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس کوئی چیز آئی نبی ﷺ نے کچھ لوگوں کو دے دیا اور کچھ لوگوں کو چھوڑ دیا بعد میں نبی ﷺ کو معلوم ہوا کہ جن لوگوں کو نبی ﷺ نے چھوڑ دیا ہے وہ کچھ خفا ہیں اور باتیں کررہے ہیں اور نبی ﷺ منبر پر تشریف لے گئے اور اللہ کی حمد وثناء بیان کرنے کے بعد فرمایا کہ میں کچھ لوگوں کو دے دیتا ہوں اور کچھ لوگوں کو چھوڑ دیتا ہوں حالانکہ جسے چھوڑ دیتا ہوں وہ مجھے اس سے زیادہ محبوب ہوتا ہے جسے دیتا ہوں میں کچھ لوگوں کو صرف اس لئے دیتا ہوں کہ ان کے دل بےصبری سے اور بخل سے لبریز ہوتے ہیں اور کچھ لوگوں کو اس غنا اور خیر کے حوالے کردیتا ہوں جو اللہ نے ان کے دلوں میں پیدا کی ہوتی ہے ان ہی میں سے عمرو بن تغلب بھی ہے میں اس وقت بالکل نبی ﷺ کے سامنے بیٹھا ہوا تھا۔ مجھے پسند نہیں کہ نبی ﷺ کے اس کلمے کے عوض مجھے سرخ اونٹ بھی ملیں۔
Hazrat Amr bin Taghlib se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas koi cheez aai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kuch logon ko de diya aur kuch logon ko chhod diya baad mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko maloom hua ki jin logon ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chhod diya hai wo kuch khafa hain aur baatein kar rahe hain aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar par tashrif le gaye aur Allah ki hamd o sana bayan karne ke baad farmaya ki mein kuch logon ko de deta hoon aur kuch logon ko chhod deta hoon halanki jise chhod deta hoon wo mujhe us se zyada mahboob hota hai jise deta hoon mein kuch logon ko sirf is liye deta hoon ki un ke dil besabri se aur bukhl se labrez hote hain aur kuch logon ko us ghana aur khair ke hawale karta hoon jo Allah ne un ke dilon mein paida ki hoti hai un hi mein se Amr bin Taghlib bhi hai mein us waqt bilkul Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne baitha hua tha mujhe pasand nahin ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke is kalme ke awaz mujhe surkh unt bhi milen
It is narrated by Amr bin Taghlib that once Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “I give to some people and leave others, although the one I leave is dearer to me than the one I give. I give to some people only because their hearts are filled with impatience and stinginess, and I entrust some people to the richness and goodness that Allah has created in their hearts, and among them is Amr bin Taghlib.” I was sitting right in front of the Prophet (peace be upon him) at that time. I would not have liked to receive even a red camel in exchange for this statement of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

It is narrated on the authority of Amr bin Taghlib that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Before the Day of Judgment, you will fight a nation who will wear hair shoes, and you will also fight a nation whose faces will be like polished shields.

حضرت عمرو بن تغلب سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قیامت سے پہلے تم ایک ایسی قوم سے قتال کروگے جو بالوں کے جوتے پہنتے ہونگے اور تم ایک ایسی قوم سے بھی قتال کروگے کہ جن کے چہرے چیٹی ہوئی کمانوں کی طرح ہوں گے۔
Hazrat Amr bin Taghlib se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya qayamat se pehle tum ek aisi qaum se qital karoge jo baalon ke joote pehente honge aur tum ek aisi qaum se bhi qital karoge keh jin ke chehre chaiti hui kamanon ki tarah honge.
It is narrated on the authority of Amr bin Taghlib that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Before the Day of Judgment, you will fight a nation whose faces will be like flat shields."

حضرت عمرو بن تغلب سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ قیامت سے پہلے تم ایک ایسی قوم سے قتال کروگے جن کے چہرے چپٹی ہوئی کمانوں کی طرح ہوں گے۔
Hazrat Amr bin Taghlib se marvi hai keh Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne irshad farmaya keh qayamat se pehle tum ek aisi qaum se qital karoge jin ke chehre chapti hui kamano ki tarah honge.
It has been narrated on the authority of 'Amr bin Taghlib that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You will fight against a nation before the Day of Judgment who will wear shoes of hair.
