Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10213
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Saying 'Subhan Allah' to remind the Imam is for men, and clapping is for women."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام کو یاد دلانے کے لئے سبحان اللہ کہنا مردوں کے لئے ہے اور تالی بجاناعورتوں کے لئے ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Imam ko yaad dilane ke liye Subhan Allah kehna mardon ke liye hai aur taali bajana auraton ke liye hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ، وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ" .
