Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10591
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the command of saying SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) when the Imam forgets is for the male followers and the command of clapping is for the women.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ امام کے بھول جانے پر سبحان اللہ کہنے کا حکم مرد مقتدیوں کے لئے ہے اور تالی بجانے کا حکم عورتوں کے لئے ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Imam ke bhul jane par Subhan Allah kahne ka hukum mard muqtadion ke liye hai aur taali bajane ka hukum aurton ke liye hai.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ، وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ، فِي الصَّلَاةِ" .
