Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10697
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you hear a man saying that the people have been ruined, then know that he is the most ruined of them all.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم کسی آدمی کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنو کہ لوگ تباہ ہوگئے تو سمجھ لو کہ وہ ان میں سب سے زیادہ تباہ ہونے والا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum kisi aadmi ko ye kehte hue suno ki log tabah hogaye to samajh lo ki wo un me sab se zyada tabah hone wala hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ , عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعْتَ الرَّجُلَ يَقُولُ هَلَكَ النَّاسُ، فَهُوَ أَهْلَكُهُمْ" .
