Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1072
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The key to prayer is purity, the thing that makes lawful things unlawful during prayer is the opening Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), and the thing that makes them lawful again is the concluding Salam.”

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”نماز کی کنجی طہارت ہے، نماز میں حلال چیزوں کو حرام کرنے والی چیز تکبیر تحریمہ ہے، اور انہیں حلال کرنے والی چیز سلام پھیرنا ہے۔“
Sayyidina Ali Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Namaz ki kunji tahaarat hai, namaz mein halal cheezon ko haram karne wali cheez takbeer tahrima hai, aur inhen halal karne wali cheez salam phirna hai.“.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" مِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُضُوءُ، وَتَحْرِيمُهَا التَّكْبِيرُ، وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ".
